Deacon John Hicks
John Hicks is a devoted husband to Evangelist Keya Hicks and a proud father to three biological sons and two bonus sons. Born in Baltimore, MD, and raised in Annapolis, MD, John has always had a deep-rooted love for God, even before fully embracing his salvation.
Serving faithfully at Mimshach Empowerment Center under the leadership of Pastor Apostle Donald Hawkins and Co-Pastor Dr. MaLonia Hawkins, John has dedicated over 15 years to ministry in various capacities. His service includes working in security, Tuesday night kids ministry, transportation, ushering, adjutancy, and as a deacon.
John's heart for ministry is centered on meeting people where they are and guiding them toward salvation. His testimony is a testament to God's transformative power—what once seemed like a life destined for the streets has become a mission to not just preach, but to reach.
